Mark Richardson has been writing for the Chicago-based online music magazine Pitchfork since 1998, and currently serves as the publication's executive editor. He is the author of Zaireeka, a book in the 33 1/3 series of short books focusing on a single album, and has written for publications including The Village Voice, Metro Times Detroit, The L.A. Weekly, Paste, and Washington City Paper.
