Suman Chakraborty (b. 1983) studied English at the Universities of Calcutta and Glasgow. His articles and monographs have appeared in a number of publications of international repute. He has authored and edited a number of books including CREATIVE WRITING: A PRACTICAL APPROACH. He is the advisory editor of PARNASSUS: AN INNOVATIVE JOURNAL OF LITERARY CRITICISM and an associate editor of THE JOURNAL OF CONTEMPORARY LITERATURE. He presently works full time as a literary critic and his forthcoming publications include critical anthologies on Shakespeare's MACBETH, Oscar Wilde's THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST and J.M. Synge's RIDERS TO THE SEA.
