Jacqueline Janssen

Jacqueline Janssen is an author, advocate and California State Policy Director for the National Shattering Silence Coalition (NSSC). A volunteer, former board member of NAMI Marin, and the County Mental Health Board, Jacqueline co-created the first County Family Partnership Policy.

An advocate for the value of women’s voices, Every Homeless Person Has a Mother uses lived experience and evidence to show that when mothers are regarded, homelessness can be prevented.

A graduate of UC Berkeley, Jacqueline is a member of International Association of Feminist Economics (IAFFE) and a co-leader of the IAFFE Oral History Project. She lives in California and travels the world with her husband.
