Maxine Wilson Perry was born in Buffalo,New York, where she lives with her husband of eighteen years, Maury. She earned a B.S. in Education. "The Haunting of Dr. Andre C. Brass" was inspired by her love for romance novels and her love for animals. Her belated dog, Blue is the only none fictional character in the novel.
