TOM GAUTHIER began his serious writing career after nearly forty years of corporate work that took him to twenty countries, immersing him in a variety of cultures. While writing for a number of commercial publications, and creating and producing four stage plays was gratifying, Tom was waiting for retirement and the chance to dive into the deep end of the writing pool— the novel.
His novels have won acclaim by Writers Digest, earned Five Star reviews in Readers’ Favorites, and received praise in many forums. His in-depth knowledge of geography, love of historical research, decades of personal experience, and extensive worldwide travel, working on four continents, is reflected in his books.
Tom served in the military in such diverse roles as a US Army Combat Intelligence analyst, as a member of a US Air Force flight crew, and as a civilian professor for the US Navy College Afloat.
A firm believer in life-long learning, he has earned a BS in Management, an MBA in Organizational Development, Certificates in Creative Writing, and a Master and Doctorate in Behavioral Psychology.
Tom lives with his wife of 52 years, Marlene, in Reno, NV.
