Kevin Curran

Kevin Curran is Professor of English Renaissance Drama at the University of Lausanne in Switzerland and Director of the Lausanne Shakespeare Festival. He is the author of *Shakespeare's Legal Ecologies: Law and Distributed Selfhood* (Northwestern, 2017) and *Marriage, Performance, and Politics at the Jacobean Court* (Ashgate, 2009) and editor of *Shakespeare and Judgment* (Edinburgh, 2016). In addition, he is general editor of the book series "Edinburgh Critical Studies in Shakespeare and Philosophy." Curran grew up in Massachusetts and was educated in Ireland at University College Dublin where he received his BA, MA, and PhD degrees. Before taking up his professorship at the University of Lausanne he held postdocs at McGill University in Montreal and Washington and Jefferson College in Washington, PA, and was Associate Professor of English at the University of North Texas.
