John J. Lynch

John J. Lynch is an Episcopal (Anglican) priest, teacher, author, and translator. Originally from North Carolina, he has degrees from Wake Forest University (BA Greek), the Catholic University of Honduras (DipTh), Trinity Theological Seminary (PhD), and the Angelicum (Lic.Sc.R.). After serving churches in North Carolina, Honduras, Virginia, and Rhode Island, he current serves historic St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Brooklyn, New York.

Father Lynch has published several works on the subjects of theology, prayer, Christian formation, including his most recent book, A Short Catechism for Episcopalians (And Other Anglicans). He is also internationally known as a Spanish-language blogger and theologian.

He enjoys reading, learning languages, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
