Joseph Babinsky

I was born in 1935 in New Jersey (U.S.A.), the twelfth child and seventh son. My father was born in Hungary and immigrated to the United States in 1910, and was a Christian minister until his death in 1951. I graduated from Monmouth College (Illinois), and Union Theological Seminary (New York City), and was ordained in 1964 in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), and then later, in 1976, I was ordained in the United Pentecostal Church (Int.).

After twenty-five years in Christian ministry, a crisis in 1986 prompted me to leave the Church and begin a fresh look at life. A period of transition lasted two decades – until I had a surprise that changed my life. In 2006, I found the spiritual writings of James Padgett that he did between 1914 and 1923. Investigations of these writings helped me to understand why I left the Church, and why I felt joy while reading the writings of James Padgett. Resources within his monumental work enabled me to develop a new self-image in a relationship with God through Divine Love—the essential message taught by Jesus and largely lost until revealed again 100 years ago through the writings of James Padgett.

In 2002 I began to write extensively, which turned into the beginning of a new career in writing, authoring and self-publishing books in the field of spirituality and spiritualism. As of 2016 I now have over 40 titles that have been written or published by me.

In June of 2016 I wrote and published a new book, "Climb the Mountain:A Path Taken." This is a memoir and begins with a story of an experience in 1944 when a beloved brother was killed during WWII. This event followed me like a shadow and influenced my long life. The book as a whole is about change ... and willingness to begin life again.
