Donnie Light

Donnie Light grew up reading every scary thriller and horror book he could get his hands on. In that light, he now loves writing stories that blend his favorite genres in new and unique ways. He primarily writes tales with a paranormal aspect, where something unexpected is sure to capture the reader’s attention.

Donnie loves being creative, and enjoys the creativity of others. He loves books and movies that illustrate creative genius, and often finds his own story ideas in unusual places.

He has worked primarily in the fields of engineering and information technology, but has had many other jobs in his life, including Fire Chief and paramedic in a small town in Illinois.

Light now lives in rural northern Illinois, but has also lived in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas. He enjoys spending time on his houseboat, likes hiking and bicycling, and of course, reading and writing. He loves interacting with readers. Visit his website at www.DonnieLight.com
