Susan began her illustration career as a poster and calendar artist. Her lively and whimsical illustrations have appeared in magazines, newspapers, and on the silver screen.

Susan's books include Night Lights, a School Library Journal Best Book of the Year, Please Take Me for a Walk, Into the Outdoors, and Day by Day.
