Patti Phillips

Patti P. Phillips, Ph.D., is co-founder and CEO of ROI Institute, Inc., which helps organizations in more than 70 countries build capability in measurement, evaluation, and human capital analytics. A globally recognized leader, she speaks at conferences worldwide and has written more than 75 books, including Return on Investment in Training and Performance Improvement Programs (3rd ed., 2024) and Show the Value of What You Do (2023). Her work has been cited on CNBC, Euronews, and National Geographic.

With Dr. Jack J. Phillips, she received the 2024 ISA Thought Leader Award, the 2022 ATD Thought Leader Award, and the 2019 Center for Talent Reporting Distinguished Contributor Award. Thinkers50 named her among the world's top 50 coaches in 2019.

Patti chairs the International Federation of Training and Development Organisations (IFTDO) and the UNITAR Evaluation Advisory Board, serves on the IACET and American Board of Optometry boards, and advises the i4cp People Analytics Board.
