I grew up in a small town always dreaming of what would come next. After my daughter was born, we discovered she had some birth defects that would need surgical correction. Its been a difficult road making sure that she was the necessary intervention. But she truly is an angel in our lives.

I am so excited about this book. I wrote this book because of my daughter. I felt a need to write this book to help other parents during a trying time. Watching your child have surgery can be very difficult. After watching my daughter I felt that I wanted to write Brave Little Megan so that other parents would be more prepared than we had been before each surgery. By using the practices I included in this book, my daughter was able to understand what she would experience as well as recover from each surgery.
