Amy Redford

About the Author

Amy Redford, a teacher/writer/acrylic folk artist, is a resident of the Outer Banks in North Carolina. She began writing and painting while teaching at an international school in Dresden, Germany. The "Florence of the North" city gave her inspiration for her creativity to be expressed on paper. Amy has also taught in Nagoya, Japan and Ankara, Turkey. Her first novel 'Once You Have Flown' was published in 2006 and most recently, 'Massenet's Duet' was published in 2009. Her love of music inspired her to write her second novel, dedicating it to professional and aspiring musicians and artists.
