Scott Brown

Scott Shibuya Brown is the author of the novels, "Story by Erasmus Yang" (JackLeg Press; 2023); "The Traders" (Black Lawrence Press, 2017), a finalist for the 2018 William Saroyan International Prize in Fiction; and "Far Afield" (Red Hen Press; 2010). He is a former staff journalist at Time Magazine and The Los Angeles Times, and has an MFA in Writing from CalArts. He lives in Los Angeles, travels frequently to Asia, and still plays in any number of punk and punk-inspired bands. He is currently working on a new novel.
