ALEXANDRA VILLARD DE BORCHGRAVE has gained distinction as a photojournalist, author, and poet over the past forty years. Her photographs have appeared on the covers of internationally renowned publications, such as Newsweek and Paris Match. Her newest book is "REVERIES: In Search of Love, Hope, & Courage" (Light of Healing Hope Foundation 2021), brings special hope during these challenging times and is dedicated to the caregivers of the world."LOVE & PEACE: 37 Eternal Reflections" (GILES 2020) brings comfort and healing to those who are suffering, a beautiful sequel to "LOVE & WISDOM: 37 Timeless Reflections" (GILES, 2018). Alexandra's first books of poetry were published by Glitterati Incorporated in 2005, 2008, 2011. She is the founder and chairman of the Light of Healing Hope Foundation www.lightofhealinghope.org, a charitable organization that has donated over 63,000 of her books of hope to over 100 hospitals and hospices as gifts to comfort patients and their families at a time of adversity. Alexandra is the co-author of "VILLARD: The Life and Times of an American Titan" (Nan A. Talese/Doubleday 2001), a biography of her great grandfather, railroad magnate and financier Henry Villard, who masterminded the creation of GE. She currently also serves on the Board of the Blair House Restoration Fund. Alexandra is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College and lives in Washington, DC.
