Alexander C. Mamourian

Alex Mamourian has over 30 years of experience working with both MR and CT scan technology. His career as a diagnostic radiologist spans the time from their clinical introduction to current technology. Throughout his career he has been interested in medical education and he has been awarded the teacher of the year award by residents at Dartmouth and the University of Pennsylvania three times. His two books, Practical MR Physics and CT Imaging, are the result of his years of collecting cases that illustrate imaging artifacts and pitfalls. These books represent the distilation of his decades of experience teaching the science of imaging to technologists and radiology residents.
