She becomes his spying accomplice, by transmitting secret rocket development information to the British Intelligence Service,in London.

The book is a real page-turner, difficult to put it down. Dr. Armand Lakner, the author of From Mauthausen to the Moon, is a space scientist, and co-author with a Nobel Prize Laureate, as well as a survivor of Nazi concentration camps, including Mauthausen.

Mauthausen, the Nazi cruel, vicious and barbaric concentration camp, was located on the left bank of the beautiful blue Danube river, only a few kilometers from Vienna, Austria, the Mecca of the German cultural and musical activities; Austria was considered the "Land of Music". The chimneys of the crematoria, burning human remains, were spewing noxious gases 24 hours a day, without the neighboring population smelling it!!??

After liberation by the Americans, the author reconstructed his life in the USA.

In recognition for his freedom, he joined the NASA/Apollo team,in Washington,D.C. thus, contributing to the American Lunar Landing.
