E.K. (Emily) Martens' first novel, The Shards of Morning, was a finalist in the International Book Awards and the Indie Excellence Awards. Her newest venture (co-authored with Chelsey Colleen Hankins), is an adventure series set in Mississippi on the eve of the Civil War.
