Robert E. Pierre

Robert E. Pierre (1968-) is a native of Franklin, Louisiana. He has been a reporter and editor at the Washington Post for two decades. He has covered politics, incarceration, juvenile justice and social justice. He was a key contributer to the Post's awarding series Being a Black Man, which became a book of the same name. He is co-author (with Jon Jeter) of A Day Late and a Dollar Short, High Hopes and Deferred Dreams in Obama's "Post Racial" America. Robert lives in Washington D.C.
