M. A. Schorr

Mark Schorr's books include "Conscious Explanations" (Pen & Anvil); "Heart's Ladder", a collection of forty sonnets; the book-length renga sequence "Recovery: 77 Dream Songs"; "One On A Side: An Evening with Seamus Heaney & Robert Frost" (as editor, with Kevin O'Connor); and "Poetry to the Max: A Shop Manual." His writing has appeared in periodicals including "Poetry Northeast" and "Fulcrum."

Schorr has a PhD in English and American Literature from Harvard University. He currently serves as the Executive Director of the Robert Frost Foundation in Lawrence, Massacusetts; and has been teaching at Cambridge College in Lawrence since 2004.

In November 2012, he produced Ben Mazer's verse play "A City of Angels" at the Grolier Poetry Book Shop. At http://shoeboxstudio.com, Schorr maintains an ongoing record of the recent seismic literary activity happenings in the Boston area.
