Roger W. Nielsen

Roger W. Nielsen was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and grew up in Idaho Falls, Idaho, with eight brothers and two sisters. After he graduated from Brigham Young University he became a journalist. His first book, "Writing Content, Mastering Magazine and Online Writing," published in 2009, is a semi-memoir outlining his life as a journalist while providing advice and direction for new writers beginning their careers. His second book,"Big Group Games, Games and Activities for Large Youth Groups,"published in 2010, is a collection of games and activities he gathered as a 20-year veteran volunteer youth leader. His most recent book,"One-Mission Man, An American POW's Struggle to Survive Hitler's Nazi Prison Camp," released by Teton Crest Publishing, is a memoir of World War II veteran David Ririe which he co-wrote with his wife, author Carolyn Ririe Nielsen. He currently lives in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
