Hugh Garvey

Hugh Garvey is the co-author, with Matthew Yeomans, of the Gastrokid Cookbook: Feeding a Foodie Family in a Fast Food World. He is co-founder of the family cooking blog Gastrokid.com, Features Editor at Bon Appetit Magazine, and a contributor to many national magazines. His writing has been published in GQ, Details, Bon Appetit, Food Arts, Cookie, Travel and Leisure, The Village Voice, The Washington Post, T: The New York Times Style Magazine, and numerous other publications. He is an expert on food, travel, and lifestyle, and is frequent a commentator in the media, with quotations in the New York Times and the Associated Press, and appearances on Hell's Kitchen, Who Will Be the Next Food Network Star, and CNN. His writing was recently anthologized in The Best American Food Writing 2009.
