Thomas Hauck

Thomas Hauck was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. His first story was "The Adventures of Super Truck," which he wrote and illustrated in sixth grade. Tom attended Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts, and upon graduation with a degree in History of Art embarked on a fifteen-year career as a guitar player and songwriter in punk pop bands including the Atlantics. Tom now is a professional writer and editor living in Gloucester, Massachusetts. Tom’s short stories have been published in "The Armchair Aesthete" and "The Bitter Oleander."

His books include these novels:

"Pistonhead," which recounts how tragedy forces an aspiring rock musician to change his life.

Short story collections:

"Public Image: Stories and Poems," a collection of works written from 2007 to 2009.

"The Body on the Rocks: 12 Thrilling Stories Featuring Detective Chris Mark."

Thomas has also ghostwritten or edited hundreds of books for his private clients. Thomas lives with his wife and two children in an 1851 Greek Revival house overlooking historic Gloucester Harbor.
