Michael Jacobson is a writer, publisher, artist, and independent curator from Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. His books include an abstract illuminated manuscript 'id est: neo scribalist asemic expressionism,' a book of futuristic hieroglyphics titled 'ZIPPOGLYPHS,' a prose poetry novella 'Somnolent Game,' an autobiographical collection of senryu poems 'Hei Kuu,' a collection of asemic writing and visual poetry 'Works & Interviews,' and 'An Anthology Of Asemic Handwriting.' Besides writing books, he curates a gallery for asemic writing called The New Post-Literate: A Gallery of Asemic Writing, and a gallery of sci-fi art dubbed THAT A Plan(et). He also sits on the editorial board of the online magazine SCRIPTjr.nl. Recently, he was published in 'The Last Vispo Anthology', and curated the Minnesota Center for Book Arts exhibit: Asemic Writing: Offline & In The Gallery. In 2017, he founded Post-Asemic Press to publish book length works of asemic writing, visual poetry, sound poetry, and experimental poetry.
