Ellen Dittman Pope

Ellen Dittman Pope is a author, historian, librarian, and educator. She has lived and traveled extensively throughout the world. She has an MLS from the University of Hawaii and is currently the reference librarian the University of West Virginia Parkersburg. Preserving the past is one of Ellen's goals, and education has been one of the formost endeavors of her life. She spent many years motivating and mentoring young people to learn and enjoy history. She has presented her living history programs History Alive Today in school districts and organizations across the world. Ellen has over 35 years of teaching experience and is a popular speaker at schools and conferences. Writing has been a major part of her life and she loves to share this passion with others.
