Sherry Wachter

Bodie Parkhurst has been writing stories since third grade, and making pictures forever. She has worked as a ranch hand, a truck driver, a mechanic, a dairy maid, a reader, a writer, an editor, a designer, and an illustrator. She draws on this checkered background in creating picture books (for both children and adults) and novels, as well as in her non-fiction work (published under the name of "Sherry Wachter").
