Christine Bailey

Christine K. Bailey is a published travel and fiction writer. She is the author of recently published 100 Things to Do in Phoenix Before You Die (Reedy Press, 2015), Phoenix: A Photographic Portrait (Twin Lights Publishers, 2011), the first edition and second, revamped and full-color, edition of the travel guide Phoenix, Scottsdale, Sedona & Central Arizona, (The Countryman Press, 2008 and 2011) and the travel app Sedona’s Scenic Red Rocks (Sutro Media). She writes about Tempe and Sedona for international travel site Bindu, and has written for local, regional and national print and online publications, including: PHOENIX Magazine, SheKnows.com, The Arizona Republic, and Southwest Meetings + Events Magazine. Her fiction and poetry has appeared in literary outlets such as The SiNK Magazine and Storyhouse Coffee.

Bailey's recently launched travel blog – theForkintheRoad.co – helps business travelers stay grounded and connected wherever they may find themselves. Articles, tips and itineraries recommend places to stay, where to grab a late-night (or early morning) coffee; routes to recharge with a quick run or hike, and the best spots and ways to unwind after a long day. Interviews and reviews cover local entrepreneurs and local businesses. The blog currently covers the Phoenix area with plans to expand into top business travel cities - San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Nashville and D.C.

She is a wife, mother of two wonderful boys, and a life-long adventurer. She lives in Tempe, Arizona with her husband and two sons.
