Marcus Pivato

Marcus Pivato is a professor at the Centre d'Économie de la Sorbonne, at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. From 2014 to 2023, he was a professor of Economics at CY Cergy Paris Université, in France. From 2002 to 2014, he was was professor of Mathematics at Trent University, in Canada. He received a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Alberta in 1994 and a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Toronto in 2001. He has published over seventy research papers in theoretical economics, mathematics and philosophy, as well as one textbook.
