Julia Lawrence

Julia Lawrence is the pen name for the father-daughter writing team, Julia Nielsen and Lawrence Tooley.

Julia is the mother of three children, five grandchildren, and one mutt and 5 granddogs. She has written for newspapers, magazines, websites, blogs, and corporate companies. Three books in The Crystal Locket series—Tunnels of Time, Secrets of the Hidden Pyramids, and Mystery of the 13th Skull—are now available. She previously published Stepping out of the Dark with Chipmunka Publishing in London and more recently Asters & Arsenic: A Patrice Summers Mystery, which is now available on Kindle.

She loves reading, writing books, solving crime games, gardening, and being with her family, and resides in Utah.

Lawrence is the author of the popular nonfiction book I Saw Heaven with Cedar Fort Press. It stayed in the top ten for over two years. He and his wife have seven children, twenty-three grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. He passed away in November 2025, but is always here in Spirit.
