Dennis Parker

Dennis Parker has been a student of the American Revolution, the Declaration of Independence and Thomas Jefferson for more than 50 years. He is the author of "Jefferson’s Masterpiece: The Story of Thomas Jefferson and the Declaration of Independence" and "A Standing Miracle: The Pivotal Events that Sparked the American Revolution and Led to America’s Independence."

His career has focused on writing and communications: writer, press secretary, publisher, editor, communications director and author.

Dennis earned his BA degree in political science at North Carolina State University.

He and his wife have two children and two granddaughters.
