Lavender S. Williams

LaVender Shedrick Williams is a military brat born in Montgomery, Alabama. Following her father's footsteps, she joined the United States Navy after two years of college at Auburn University in Montgomery.

After 20 years of dedicated military service as an Air Traffic Controller and a Religious Program Specialist (Chaplain's Assistant), LaVender retired to come home to be a wife and homeschooling mother which birthed her first book, We Snap in Silence.

LaVender is also the creator of Momsweb, an online resource for women, and Candy Publishing, an independent publishing company designed to assist first-time authors.
