Carol Hand

C.S. Hand grew up in the Midwest. As Carol Hand, she has written 60+ high-school books on nature, ecology, and environmental science. But her first love is storytelling, and these days, she shares her love of science and concern for nature through fiction. In her young adult sci-fi series, Sam and Jade’s Alien Adventures, a group of ordinary teens and adults embark on a fictional—and seemingly hopeless—initiative to save Earth. Along the way, they’re helped (or hindered) by aliens. And pets!
