Elmer B. Hall

Dr. Elmer Hall helps individuals, nonprofits, and organizations plan for success through strategic foresight, sustainability, intellectual property strategy, and the use of Generative AI. As the creator of Regenerative Dynamic AI (rdAI™), he has pioneered new methods for rapid strategic planning that blend human insight with AI-supported analysis. His work includes several books, tools, and workshops in the Perpetual Innovation™ series, supported by his broader Perpetual Innovation information hub.

Dr. Hall’s recent books focus on nonprofit planning, impactful donor giving, Rotary and service club leadership, and AI-enabled rapid planning. He also writes extensively on sustainability, scenario planning, and the evolving role of AI in organizational decision-making.

He holds accredited degrees from the University of South Florida (BA, MBA) and a Doctorate of International Business Administration (DIBA) from Nova Southeastern University. His peer-reviewed publications appear in multiple volumes of the award-winning Refractive Thinker® anthology, along with articles on sustainability, innovation, economic development, and the “genius of crowds.”

As President/CEO of Strategic Business Planning Company (SBPlan), Dr. Hall leads consulting engagements and workshops on strategic planning, sustainability strategy, commercializing intellectual property and brand enhancements, and nonprofit and service-club planning. He co-authored Perpetual Innovation™: A Guide to Strategic Planning, Patent Commercialization and Enduring Competitive Advantage, soon to be available on Amazon in its 5th edition. He also developed COMPASS®, SBP’s structured methodology for managing and commercializing intellectual property assets.

Over the past decade, Dr. Hall has increasingly devoted his work to strengthening the nonprofit sector. This focus produced two Perpetual Innovation™ books that serve as cornerstones of the philanthropic ecosystem—one for nonprofit leaders and impactful donors, and another for service clubs supporting local charities.

He continues to center his work on helping people plan smarter, innovate faster, and make a meaningful difference through rdAI, strategic foresight, and practical, real-world frameworks.
