Eileen M. Hayes

Eileen M. Hayes is associate professor of music at the College of Music, University of North Texas. Black Women and Music: More than the Blues was nominated for the Letitia Woods Brown Memorial Book Prize sponsored by the Association of Black Women Historians in 2007. She is a long-time feminist activist and theorist.
