Matthew Randazzo V is a classic New Orleans storyteller -- fearless, swaggering, and devilishly funny. MRV writes cinematic nonfiction, true stories delivered with style, excitement, and swagger. MRV is best known for his daredevil investigative journalism in the American underworld in such books as Breakshot and Mr. New Orleans, in which he uncovered incredible true stories that rewrite the history of American organized crime.

MRV has been published by Simon & Schuster and Phoenix Books. He has also written for the New York Daily News and appeared as an expert authority on E! Entertainment Television, PBS, and over 100 radio programs around the world. He has been invited as a guest lecturer at George Washington University, University of New Brunswick, and Florida State. He also had a TV deal with the Fox Network for a weekly network TV series based on his book Breakshot, which was also adapted into an hour-long Discovery Channel documentary.
