Russ Hafferkamp

Russ Hafferkamp is a California native and interested author of many subjects and genres. His latest book series is for children... "Fuzzy the Virus", a 'fairy tale with a happy ending' and the existential anxieties we all face with the scary Covid-19 pandemic. He is a former NCAA All-American athlete, NCAA coach and successful CEO and currently has a private career counseling and coaching practice, providing advice and counsel to over 1,500 former collegiate and elite athletes. He is the author of “CareerBall: The Sport Athletes Play When They’re Through Playing Sports” and “CareerBall: The Student-Athlete Career Guide and Handbook” which combined have over 60,000 print editions in circulation. As a longtime member of The San Francisco Olympic Club, Russ compiled the 116-year history of "Water Polo at The Olympic Club: A Generation of Champions". As an entrepreneur, Russ has two patents registered with USPTO for authoring/inventing the "Method and System for Managing Retail Promotion Events" and "Managing Retail Promotion Events" (Nerd Alert!). A father of two beautiful daughters, partner to Rio the golden retriever, and raised by four sisters and a super awesome mother, Russ relies daily on on these influencers to keep him grounded.
