Fabricio Gonzalez-Andrade

Dr. Gonzalez-Andrade is an Associated Researcher at the Department of Forensic Medicine in the University of Zaragoza (Spain) and at the Department of Medicine in the Metropolitan Hospital in Quito (Ecuador). He received his MD title from the Central University and, his PhD in Genetics from the University of Zaragoza.

He has been on the frontline of some of the most groundbreaking genetic projects in the annals of medicine. Among them, the STR Collection Database of Native Amerindian groups stands as one of the most impressive undertakings of its kind. He is an acclaimed physician who has made contributions to Forensic Genetics through his in-depth knowledge of how his specialty applies to social sciences in addition to medicine.
