Michael Just

Michael Just writes book-length fiction and nonfiction as well as short stories and essays. His fiction focuses on the genres of science fiction, horror, mystery and mainstream-contemporary. He informs his writing with a wide range of professional and personal experience, including the law and psychotherapy, teaching, and acting in film and theater. He has traveled extensively throughout the American West, with an emphasis on the canyon country of the Southwest. He makes his home on the edge of the Colorado Plateau in the Four Corners region, the setting for many of his novels.
