Alec Clayton

I'm a renegade Mississippian now living in the Pacific Northwest. I have been a longtime theater and art critic for newspapers in Tacoma and Olympia, Washington, and I am editor of the arts magazine OLY ARTS. I have a masters degree in drawing and painting, and I retired from painting in the mid-2000s after surviving open heart surgery to focus on writing.

I am co-owner of Mud Flat Press, based in Olympia, Washington. https://mudflatpress.com/alec-clayton/
