N. Kathryn Howard

N. Kathryn Howard was born and raised in a small city outside of Chicago. To escape the cold winters, she headed west and attended Arizona State University, then after college, moved to California to pursue a career in the entertainment business. A very moderate amount of success as an actress prompted the turn toward writing and what would be a more rewarding element of the business. One of her notable screenplays, "Combat Barbi", was inspired by the true story of her bubbly yet feisty younger sister who abruptly joined the Army. After a long shelf life due to military comedies not being highly sought after post September 11, Ms. Howard is back in development to produce that film. She is currently working on a six book series, the first of which is slated for a late 2015 release and resides in sunny southern California with her daughter.
