Melissa Leister

Melissa Leister was born and raised in Pennsylvania. She has been a fan of fantasy and occult stories since childhood thanks to watching The Trouble with Miss Switch and The Worst Witch on TV at Halloween, and the Thriller video every time it aired on MTV when she was little. Reruns of Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie probably helped her on her path too.

Heir to the Coven is her first novel and the first book in the Natasha Carmichael series.

She enjoys reading fantasy, literature and horror novels. Her favorite books are The Hero and the Crown and Pride and Prejudice. She also finds it weird to talk about herself in the third person.
