Gordon E Morrison

Gordon Morrison is an inventor, consultant, author, and speaker. Gordon has spoken at SSTC-Online.org conference, IEEE meetings, U of Missouri, U of Houston, Lockheed ATL, SRI International, and the DACS webinar. He has developed real-time weather radar systems, invented the technology known today as multi-core and hyper-threading technology (U.S. Patent 4,847,755) licensed to Intel, IBM, TI, Motorola, Apple, and many others. Gordon has developed extensive database systems, developed high-performance communications systems, and developed micro-code for animation and weather radar. Gordon’s main interest has been improving the quality of software and reducing complexity. Gordon wrote Breaking the Time Barrier: The Temporal Engineering of Software. Breaking the Time Barrier dramatically refines the old concepts of specifications, state machines, table-driven process, and trace. Breaking the Time Barrier lays the groundwork for reducing software complexity and unifying the specification-model into the application.
