David Snider

David serves as an Executive in Residence at Bain Capital working with the firm’s investment team to source and review potential new opportunities and to advise portfolio companies on their operations. Previously, David served as CFO & COO of Compass and was responsible for leading the development of its operations and finances. In his role as Chief Operating Offer David built the legal, finance, people & culture, information technology, communications, facilities, strategy and business development teams as the Company expanded from one office to more than thirty locations and 1,800 staff & agents. As Chief Financial Officer, David was responsible for all capital markets activities. He raised over $260 million, most recently valuing the Company at over $1B in a transaction led by Wellington Management. Prior to Compass, David was an investor at Bain Capital where he completed transactions valued at over $3B, including working on the IPO of Sensata on the NYSE.
