David Shoemaker

David Shoemaker is an associate professor of philosophy at Tulane University. His research is on a variety of topics in moral philosophy, including agency, moral responsibility, and the relation between personal identity and ethics. He is the author of over 35 academic papers and is the author, co-author, or editor of several books, including Personal Identity and Ethics, Knowledge, Nature, and Norms (with Mark Timmons), and the series Oxford Studies in Agency and Responsibility.
