Brian Lux

Brian Lux was born in Derby, and qualified as a dental surgeon. He spent his professional life in General Practice, serving on the General Dental Council for 25 years, and was awarded the Fellowship of the Pierre Fauchard Academy in 2000 for work with addicted coleagues. He was President (twice) of the Dental Practitioners Association.

He has many interests, including sailing,taking part in the Clipper 98 RTW race An amateur boxer, he became a qualified ABA Coach, and co-founded Sale West ABC 28 years ago. He enjoys road racing, raising funds for worthy charities. Now a published children's author, he has a new life,visiting schools and doing workshops with the pupils,and is the treasurer of Llandudno Writers
