Professor Forinash taught undergraduate physics at Indiana University Southeast from 1985 until his retirement in 2018. He received his PhD in theoretical physics from Clemson University and has worked with research groups at Los Alamos National Laboratory and at the Ecole Normal Superior in Lyon France. He has published 44 peer reviewed articles and five books and has given numerous talks and workshops in the US, Europe and South America over topics ranging from nonlinear dynamics to the use of computers, the Internet and cell phones in science education.
