JOANNE WECK, novelist, playwright, and short story author, creates many of her tales from family history, set in rural Pennsylvania where she grew up.

FREEZER BURN, the second in her Starshine Diner Mystery series is now available along with her previous mysteries, short stories, and plays.

INTO THE FRYING PAN is the first in a new series, Starshine Diner Mysteries.

BONE MOON, is the third in her Pocono Mountain Mystery series. It features Frankie Lupino, a young single mother and amateur sleuth.

BONE MOON, CRIMSON ICE. DOUBLE DECEPTION and her collection, FATFUL ENCOUNTERS are available in paperback and Kindle format.

Her plays have been featured in New Jersey and Pennsylvania theaters.

She has written for Scholastic Magazines, Sprint and Action. Her short stories have been published in literary journals. Many of her short stories have been first prize winners.

She has a B.A. in English and an M.A. in Theater and has taught creative writing and mentored YAWT (young Artists' Workshop Theater) a group of young writers and performers.
