Claudia Pemberton

Claudia Terry Pemberton is a lifetime resident of West Virginia. She is a proud member of the Military Writers Society of America, the Romance Writers of America, and WV Writers, Inc.

Pemberton's debut novel, "Love Leaves No One Behind" was honored with several literary awards as were many of her succeeding books.

Writing her first romantic thriller, which tells the story of a U.S. Army Ranger, caused a life-altering discovery for Pemberton. After extensively researching the lead character of Ranger Jesse Daulton, she began to embrace the true meaning of patriotism, gaining a deep and abiding understanding of the heroic sacrifices made by American soldiers each and every day of their lives.

Pemberton's profound appreciation of America's military inspired a quote which sums up her feelings as concisely as possible. It reads: "America without her soldiers would be like God without his angels." Over the years, her quote has been used in many articles, memorial services, tributes, and merchandise, for which the author is humbled and honored.

Pemberton is also deeply respectful of the sacrifices made by police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and all first responders, each of which occupy a special place in her heart.

The author followed her first novel with: "Love Leads the Way," "Her First Breath," "The Cost of Her Heart," "The Butcher's Run," "Seeing with the Heart," "Come Back to Me," "Sacred Tears," "Finding Faith," and finally, her tenth and newest novel, "A Daughter's Vow."

As all of her stories come directly from her heart, it is Pemberton's hope that her readers will be immersed, entertained, enlightened, and ultimately unregretful.
