Susan Whitfield

Multi-genre author, Susan Whitfield, is a native of North Carolina, where she sets all of her novels. In the Logan Hunter Mysteries, Genesis Beach was set along the Crystal Coast, Just North of Luck, in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Hell Swamp along Black River in Pender County, Sin Creek in Wilmington, and Sticking Point in Beaufort. Whitfield collected family recipes from mystery writers across the country for Killer Recipes, a real cookbook with mysterious names. Her first women's fiction is Slightly Cracked. Sprig of Broom is creative nonfiction set in medieval England and Normandy. Her latest series includes Last Time Home and Plans I've Made, both set in Pender County. She is currently working on an inspirational project.
