Vince Daubenspeck

Vince Daubenspeck graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Marketing before joining the Air Force and flying various fighter aircraft. He acquired a Masters Degree in Finance, retired from the Air Force, and has since won numerous awards selling real estate. He enjoys the ocean and writing about anything to do with the sea. His latest book, Kohola, King of the Whales, won the prestigious 2014 Ka Palapala Po'okela Award for Excellence in Children's Literature. In 2016, he earned his Master of Humanities, Creative Writing, with honors and looks to publish his first novel. He can either be found in the ocean chasing creatures or planning his next adventure to write about on the North Shore of Oahu with his beautiful wife Julie.
